Individual Registration - CPF
The CPF is mandatory to obtain access to various civil acts in Brazil, such as: using the Unified Health System (SUS), opening bank accounts, securing working papers and everything that involves signing a contract, such as starting a company or telephone line. It can be obtained by foreigners who live abroad and have business or property in Brazil.

You may apply at the post office closest to your residence. The fee for issuing in-person at the post office is R$7.00.

CRNM / RNM / RNE
CRNM is the National Migration Registry card, mandatory for all migrants with a temporary visa and, above all, for those who wish to live in the country. The card has important information such as: full name, photo, date of birth, issuance and validity of the document, identity number, RNM, and the legal basis of your residence permit.

HOW TO GET CRNM?
The CRNM is obtained upon request on the Federal Police website, you must:

Complete the GRU payment.

Attend an appointment in-person at the nearest Federal Police department

Employment and social security card - CTPS
Perhaps the most important step in integrating immigrants into society is through formal employment. The CTPS is mandatory for the carrying out of any formal work and is part of the processes for obtaining a Work Visa.
