Changing Data with the Federal Police
Changing data in the Federal Police database may be necessary for several reasons, such as: change of name due to marriage; certificates that present conflicting data; and many others. The presence of divergent information can lead to the rejection or delay of migration processes such as obtaining the Residence Permit (RNE | RNM).

Obtaining or Renewing Brazilian Documents by Foreigners

Brazilian passport- the Brazilian passport (ordinary) can be acquired after the Brazilian naturalization process. If issued by persons over 18 years old, the document will be valid for 10 years.

Driver's license (CNH)- document that qualifies a citizen to drive in Brazil. Usually, it follows the same license and category basis as the country of origin. The validity depends on the Brazilian state of issue, normally it is 06 (six) months. It is possible to revalidate the international driver's license if issued by a country established in the Vienna Convention. There are also situations in which it is possible to use the driving license from the country of origin together with a respective sworn translation of the document, provided that the country is a signatory to the Vienna Convention.
Individual Taxpayer Registration Card (CPF/MF)- document that proves the enrollment of a citizen at the service of the Federal Revenue Service, it is essential for the collection of taxes.

Opening of bank accounts- One of the biggest issues that a migrant can have is the difficulty of accessing their bank account. It is common for banks to refuse or create impediments for opening an account by foreigners, either due to lack of knowledge or interest. Therefore, it is important to know your rights as a migrant in order to demand that they be fulfilled. Migrants with Refuge Request or National Migration Registry (RNM | RNE) are entitled to open a bank account.
